2025 Convention - Albuquerque NM

The Executive Committee is pleased to announce that we are returning to the Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown Hotel for our 2025 Convention.    The dates will be in early September, the 4th through the 6th.

We've arranged for a tour of Los Alamos, and the The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History, located in ABQ, but we haven't been to Los Alamos since 2015, and there have been a lot of changes to the museums there, both the Bradbury Science Museum, as well as the Los Alamos History Museum.

Registration is NOW OPEN  just click the 2025 NWTA Albuquerque Convention on the Main Menu for hotel reservation information and to reqister after midnight May 15th.

Newsflash

AFK Store is closed for vacation.

Our Treasurer/Webmaster, who is also the manager of our AFK store, is taking a three week vacation with his spouse and his in-laws..   As he will not be able to fulfill any orders during this time, the AFK Store will be closed until July 11th.

We do apologize for this, but we hope you understand, family comes first.


To Absent Friends ....

The Fallen page has been updated for the notices we've received up to the 31st of January 2025.   

We often do not find out about fellow nuke pukes passing until months or years later.   Please let us know no matter when they passed on, as this information may assist those looking to get in touch with someone and not knowing they're no longer here.     An example of this is that we just found out that an NWTA member, Robert Fleetwood, passed in Jan 2021.

The NWTA wishes to honor all Nuclear Weapons Technicians who have passed by adding their names to The Fallen page.   They do not need to be members of the NWTA to be so honored.   Please pass any notifications on to the This email address is being protected from spambots. NWTA Mailing Address

The NWTA mailing address has changed, as our Treasurer has moved from Missouri to New Mexico. This address will be valid for the next year, perhaps a bit longer.
