Reply: New Memeber

So glad I found this group. '76-'79 463 at Pease. From time to time I would scour the web looking for contacts or info. Stumbled on some posts about the WSA at Pease, then found this group. Long cold winters, ORI's and other alerts, "swinging" bombs, freaking out the SP's. I was looking for a photograph taken of me and our crew during a live ORI operation. Some brass came into the bay and had a photographer; next thing I know he is taking pictures. I turned my head - I was a number 1 that day. The picture turned up in a local paper somehow. I can't remember which paper it was, but have tried searching for it. Would be nice to have now, but at the time, not so much. Glad to be hear.
