John Dale Kern, 7 March 1935 to 7 July 2014
E4, 332xx. Lowry AFB, 1955, March AFB, SAC, 38th ADS, 1956-1959
Eagle Scout & Civil Air Patrol. A Machinist before and after the USAF at
North American Aviation and its subsequent changes working in classified
satellite optics. "Still working on the DARK side," he would say.
His ashes are interred at the Riverside National Cemetery, (CA) as his friend and
Special Weapons college Vern Overby is, within walking distance to the Munitions area
where they both served west of March AFB.
Dale grew up in Los Angeles.
