Mr. Robert G. "Jack" Bryant, 70, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2011, at Osborn Funeral Home. Graveside services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 26, 2011, at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Keithville, LA. with full military honors conducted by Barksdale AFB Honor Guard. Officiating will be Rev. Paul Martin of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

Mr. Jack Bryant was a native of Altus, OK and a resident of Shreveport. He retired from the United States Air Force after 21 years of service to his country as a Nuclear Weapons Technician where he served at such locations as Medina Base, TX, Deep Creek AFS, WA, and Ghedi, Italy. Jack was a member of the American Legion and the Disabled Veterans of America.

Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Odell Bryant and Elaine Dees Bryant. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Anna Lee Bryant; two daughters, Virginia "Ginger" Causey and husband, Jay and Sheralea "Sheri" Maston and husband, Mike; four grandchildren, Jacob Kyle Causey, Jayme Katharine Causey, Hannah Katharine Maston and Andrew Michael Maston.

Pallbearers will be the Barksdale AFB Honor Guard.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Causey, Jim Young, David Young, Charles Young and Bob Gunderson.

The family requests that memorials be made in lieu of flowers to St. Jude's Children's Research Center or St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff of the VA Medical Center, Shreveport, LA.
