George E. DeGear went home on June 12, 2008. He was born on April 16, 1928 in Hammond, IN, and was raised in Youngstown, OH. George retired from the USAF, after 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Barbara. He is survived by his children Maureen Bockes, MN; Jane, Michael and Kristina Streeter, of Spokane; David, Kathleen and Frannie DeGeare, Oceanside, CA; brothers Thomas (Jean) DeGeare, Spokane; Ron (Cookie) DeGeare, CA; sister Montery Kidd, FL. Also surviving is his faithful and loyal companion; his dog, Bob.
