Peter J. "Pete" Zboinski, of King of Prussia, a missile and defense system engineer died on Wednesday, June 07, 2006. He was born in Norristown on December 4, 1947 son of the late John and Ida (Kateusz) Zboinski. Pete was the beloved husband of Susan G. Harmon Zboinski.
Pete graduated the former St. Mary Grade School and the former St. Matthew High School class of '65. He was a Vietnam War Veteran serving in the United States Air Force from 1965-1985 as a Nuclear Weapons Specialist retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant. While in the Air Force, he received the following decorations and medals: Air Force Commendation Medal with 2 devices, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, Air Force Organizational Excellence Award, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with 5 devices, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon with 4 devices, NCO Professional Military Education Graduation Ribbon, and Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon. He was employed by Lockheed Martin in King of Prussia as a Missile and Defense System Engineer. His hobbies included woodworking and playing with his pet parrot, "Coco". He was a socialite of the King of Prussia Fire Company, where he had many friends.
Survived by: a brother, Richard Zboinski of Conshohocken; and 3 step children: Kimberly A. Harmon of Sanatoga, Michael E. (Michelle) Harmon of Ardmore, and James E. Harmon Jr. of Phoenixville; and 3 grandchildren.
