PAUL HILMEN COLEMAN
FORT LUPTON, COLORADO
NOVEMBER 1, 1940 – JUNE 25, 2012

Paul H. Coleman, "Paulie" or Pops, of Fort Lupton, Colorado, ascended to be with his Yeshua at the age of 71 on June 25th at 2:45AM after fighting a valiant battle against cancer. Paul ascended peacefully in his home surrounded by his family and friends.

Paul was born on November 1st, 1940, in Lewistown, Montana, to the late Juanita O. Wilcox and Isadore M. Coleman. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carolee Coleman, his two daughters, Rivkah S. Borg and husband Michael E. Borg of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, and Sabrina L. Tomky and husband Tracy D. Tomky of Weldona, Colorado, and by one son, Sean P. Coleman of Denver, Colorado. Seven grandchildren also survive. Other survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Douglas W. Coleman and Elizabeth Coleman.

Paul was raised in Alaska, which, until his passing, he was very fond of and shared many stories of with his friends and family. One of his favorite memories was of walking to school carrying a fishing pole in one hand and a gun in the other.... And his encounter with a moose one day on his way home after school. Paul was also proud to have served his country in both the Navy and Air Force. He retired from the military as a Tech Sergeant after 23 years of service. After retiring, Paul explored many different career options, including becoming an ordained minister.

Burial services will be held on Wednesday, June 27th at 11:01AM at Platteville Mizpah Cemetery, Platteville, Colorado. The family will receive friends and family following the service until 2PM at their home at 1011 McKinley Ave., Fort Lupton, Colorado.

The family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to the doctors and staff at University of Colorado Hospital, Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado, and to Halcyon Hospice for their exceptional care of Paul throughout his illness. They would also like to extend a special thanks to Sally and Ray Sears and the Torah Mishpacha in Loveland, Colorado, for their prayers, support, visits, and Tahara observance.
