Edwin C. Hill

Edwin C. Hill, 74, passed away Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, at Nebraska Veterans Cemetery in Alliance with military honors by the United States Air Force.

Edwin was born July 28, 1939 in Chicago, Ill. to Carl and Mary (Smith) Hill. Edwin entered the United States Air Force June 3, 1958 and was honorably discharged June 30, 1980 with the rank of Master Sergeant. While in the Air Force he served as a nuclear weapons technician. After his retirement from the Air Force he was in sales.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda J. Hill of Bridgeport; sons, Leslie Hill, Crozet, Va., and Mark (Pamela) Hill, The Woodlands, Texas; daughters, Carole Ann Hill, Aurora, Colo. and Michelle VanCompernolle, Oak Grove, Mo.; grandchildren, Casey, Caitlin, Zachary, Matthew and Tegan; and sister, Doris Ann Cunningham, Manson, Iowa.
