Senior Master Sergeant, Michale S. Midway through his career, he cross-trained and become an AF seismologist, monitoring nuclear testing around the world.  When world tensions increased, SAC called him back to his original career file where he remained until retirement.

Dedicated to his country, he was also committed to his community and young people.  A Boy Scout master for several years, he provided a shining example of caring and integrity to a new genreation.  After retiring from active duty, he again committeed to his country by managing the Publications Branch at Malmstrom AFB, MT for thirteen years.

After retiring a second time, he moved back to Rapid City, SD, built a new home, and enjoyed a decade of well-earned relaxation and played Grandpa and Mr. Fixit to the neighborhood children.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia; two sons, Charles (Jennifer) and Kurt (Diana); his brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Karen Bulman; his sisters, Marilyn, Carolyne, and Ruslyn; his brother, Steve, and numerous friends here and scattered across the globe. He will be sorely missed by his seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
