Vitas Dedinas, 60 of Sunny Hills passed away Friday, October 19, 2012 at Bay Medical Center in Panama City. Vitas was born in New York City on October 14, 1952 to Anthony and Victoria Dedinas. He received an Associate's degree and retired from the United States Air Force as an Nuclear Weapons Technician. He moved to Sunny Hills in 1992 coming from England. He was a member of the Florida State Council Knights of Columbus, Nuclear Weapons Technician Association (NWTA), Seacrest Wolf Preserve and St. Theresa Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Deborah Dedinas; brother: Stanley Dedinas. He is survived by a son Leonard Dedinas and wife Lindsey of Fort Lewis, Washington; grandchildren: Braeden, Nathan, Kylie and Marley Sue. Funeral services will be held 10a.m. Friday, October 26, 2012 at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Monsignor Francis officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary cemetery with military honors with Obert Funeral Home of Chipley directing. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at St. Theresa Catholic Church
