Mr. Neil Clark Shirley, age 82 of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away September 2, 2015 at the NEA Hospital in Jonesboro. Born September 23, 1932 in Newport, Arkansas, he was the son Mr. Cody and Velva Rollins Shirley and was a member of the Jonesboro Worship Center. Mr. Shirley was a Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force for 25 years and was a member of the Jonesboro Chapter American Legion. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife: Carolyn Bryant Shirley of the home; two daughters: Susan Hayes and husband Robert of Yorktown, Virginia and Sherry Bryant of Jonesboro, Arkansas; four sons: Kevin Shirley, Randy Bryant, Barry Bryant and Scotty Bryant all of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one brother: Dale Shirley of South Haven, Mississippi. Mr. Shirley also leaves six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son: Marcus Neil Shirley.
