LAS VEGAS, NV. - MSgt. Edward Jay (Bird) Wallace, 43, of Las Vegas and formerly of Augusta, died Saturday, May 6 in Bakersfield, CA. Born September 29, 1962 he was a graduate of Aquinas High School class of 1980. He began a career in the US Air Force in 1981; during which time he received numerous awards and was recognized by his superiors as an outstanding airman. After retiring from the Air Force he was employed with Northrop Grumman. Surviving are his wife, Denise; children: Robbin, Jayson, Dilon and Michaela all of Las Vegas; mother, Faye Dozier and brother, Jody Wallace both of Appling.
