Bays Cunningham Beck, Jr. of San Marcos, passed away August 1, 2009 at age 74. Bays was born June 26, 1935 in Turkey Foot Fork, Mississippi to parents, Bays C. Beck, Sr. and Lucille (Duboise) Beck.
Bays served in the United States Air Force from 1954 to 1982.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Linda Beck and a sister, Evelyn Harris. Bays is survived by his wife of 51 years, Wilma Greene Beck of San Marcos, daughters, Gayle Goodson of Grenada, Mississippi, Donna Granato of Lytle and Pam
McClintock of Wimberley, grandchildren, Andrea Smith, Aaron Granato, Desiree Granato, Allen McClintock, Derek McClintock and Dustin McClintock, great grandchildren, Caleb Brown and Skye Granato. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 4, 2009, 3:00 pm at the Goodnight & Snell Funeral Event Center, 107 Centerpoint Rd. with Celebration of Life Services beginning at 4:00 pm with Chaplain Janet Hunter officiating.
