I came across your website while doing research on weapons storage areas in New England. I’m a historic preservation consultant writing a historic resource report for the federal government about the weapons storage area at the former Pease Air Force Base, and am looking for comparable weapons storage areas, particularly those with concrete mounded igloos. Could you please let me know if the igloos at Stony Brook are still standing, and if so, how many there are?
