She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Louis James; her children, Lance Jason and his spouse Rebecca and their four children, Penelope Ann and her 3 children, Louis James III and his 2 children and Terri Lynn Waychoff, her spouse Patrick and 3 children as well as 9 great grand children and many nieces and nephews. She was very active in Squadron and NCO Wives Clubs. She made friends everywhere she went. She could speak three languages; English, French and German. She loved cooking, was an avid reader, and managed moving our family and raising our four children traveling all over the world, instilling within them the qualities of strong moral character, honor and commitment to family and her belief in “No Guts, No Glory” to inspire each to soar. She was made an honorary Chief Master Sergeant by the members of the 463 community upon her husbands retirement by the members of the 463 community. This is the legacy she’s passed on-Touching everyone she’s ever met with her grace and acceptance and passing many of these qualities on to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Upon retirement from the Air Force in 1988, she and her husband Louis retired to New Mexico.
